The gorge at Nay Aug Park is lovely to look at with a swimming hole and waterfall. The dance hall is a place to gather and attracts big bands from out of town.
A stop on the major vaudeville circuit, the city has hosted such celebrities as Harry Houdini, Mae West, Buffalo Bill Cody, John Philip Sousa, Will Rogers, Fred Astaire, Groucho Marx and W.C. Fields.
